Perhaps someone in East Riding Council's customer 'services' department could answer me a simple question, that is, why does the council not answer people's e-mails or acknowledge letters, faxes, applications etc. I sent an e-mail in early August about a particular problem in Grove Park, Beverley, to date I have had no reply or acknowledgement that the e-mail was ever received. I sent an application to the council for an allotment, nothing. I also sent an application to the coun
