Stephen Holbrook, regarded by many as "Britain's most gifted spiritualist medium" is make a welcome return to Driffield on Sunday September 14.
His Community Centre show is part of a 2008 nationwide tour which will take him to towns and cities as far afield as Dumfries in the north, Norwich in the east, Portsmouth in the south and Falmouth in the west.

Stephen is enormously popular across the country and packs out venues wherever he goes, using his extraordinary gifts of clairvoyance and acting as a telephone exchange between this world and the next.

His evenings are always full of laughter and tears - it's an emotional roller coaster ride that brings reassurance to thousands and causes many entrenched sceptics to change their views.

Stephen is being promoted by two of Britain's largest newspaper groups - including Johnston Press, which owns the Driffield Times, Driffield Post and Beverley Guardian.

Over the last few years Stephen has raised tens of thousands of pounds for local charities, notably the hospice movement, and raised over £5000 for MacMillan Cancer Support in 2007. This year he is raising money for PACT, a Sheffield based children's cancer charity that helps terminally ill children all over the country, and the current running total is £4,000.

He is determined that his charitable commitments will increase in the future - hopefully helping some lesser known institutions which don't usually get the limelight or the publicity - or the funding. Tickets for the Driffield show are on sale now and are available from the Driffield Times reception desk, Mill Street, Driffield, or via debit or credit card by calling (01723) 506256.
